Solid work from John Milius with deep philosophy, strong story with no pandering to PC or wokes, great actors to support Arnie, action on an epic and very physical scale (no CG here), imagery and scenery and a great epic story that makes you wish he had done more, plus an outstanding soundtrack by Basil Poledouris, after 40 years I still think this is a great film and have a replica of the sword and a wheel of pain medallion to wear while lifting weights and musing on the riddle of steel . . .
