I'm not sure why the BBC feel the need to use the licence fee to lecture the viewer about race every time they commission a drama. It's as though they view the licence fee payers with absolute disdain and are taking the opportunity to 'educate' us knowing they'll get away with it every time. The reality is, we just want to watch a murder mystery! Is that too much to ask? As to this adaptation, my advice is to seek out previous Agatha Christie adaptations or read the original book (before the word and thought fascists get hold of it).

I managed about 20 minutes. It is pure garbage. Oh to be able to watch an accomplished crime thriller or murder mystery on the BBC. This programme is based around an unnecessary level of gratuitous violence and silly, grimy, abstract scenes telling a story about rotten people supporting a laughable story. And what's with the daft voice-over and story-board popping up every 10 minutes. It's really very poor. Could someone also please tell me what audience this is aimed at. It seems that the BBC are increasingly commissioning this type of rubbish (using our money) in the belief they're being edgy. I'd give it a miss if I were you.
