I'm not sure why the BBC feel the need to use the licence fee to lecture the viewer about race every time they commission a drama. It's as though they view the licence fee payers with absolute disdain and are taking the opportunity to 'educate' us knowing they'll get away with it every time. The reality is, we just want to watch a murder mystery! Is that too much to ask? As to this adaptation, my advice is to seek out previous Agatha Christie adaptations or read the original book (before the word and thought fascists get hold of it).
