I really enjoyed this live adaptation of One Piece. I thought many elements flowed really well such as casting of younger and older cast members along with character design, choreography and music were really good. The blending of CGI and the beautiful practical set pieces were high qaulity and remained consistent throughout the entire series. This is one of those rare examples of a live adaptation being done right. In fact I'd say much better than anything Disney has done in comparison with their adaptations which can feel lifeless in comparison at times. The series pays genuine homage to the Anime and borrows heavily from it which I like because the creators really understand this world and who these characters really are. I am very interested to see where things go from here. I feel this live adaptation will potentially bring alot of new fans to One Piece or at least this version of it. It was a fun ride!
