This is my first film review. Ignore the critics, if u come from a dysfunctional family background or have dealt with addiction the situations in this film will resonate. Regardless of your race. It doesn’t have to pertain or be generalized to all of rural white America, this is the story of the struggles of one family. Not sure why the Hollywood critics are making it political just because it doesn’t match their specific reality.We need more movies based on real life stories that give us hope to overcome the obstacles in our lives. Glad I went ahead and watched despite the reviews. I highly recommend!
