Didn't like it at all, flat acting creating unlikeable characters.

I watched it because I am always interested in seeing other cultures and how americans portray them in series. Now, even though the acting is good, no doubt, the story is unclear, overdramatic and cringe at times, trying to show the drama of each character in just one scene. One example of those moments is the Indian mother/daughter conflict, all described in an elevator scene. At times, the scenes feel disconnected, flat. Very disappointing.
