I am surprised at just unfair criticism from this series. I found this by far, best of Steve Carrell's work. Malkovich, as Mallaroy, as always was brilliant. Loved the clever handling and mix of goofiness juxtaposed with hard hitting life issues. So many aspects of life have been covered without the dramatic pauses, angles and stretching in into series. The series is neither embarrassed in employing over the top creative licence with Mark ferrying the helicopter to pick up his daughter or using satellites to find his mother. Very entertaining series . Looking forward to next season.
