I've always loved Giselle's character, and I really enjoyed the film. There were lots of memorable and cute moments. BUT, I got more of a "Twitches" type of vibe from Disenchanted... not sure why. Nothing wrong with that, maybe it's the CGI that seemed a bit more old school. I saw some negative comments regarding the CGI but I think it provides a sense of nostalgia - and Disney rarely indulges in 2D animation anymore, so I'm glad they didn't abandon that in this movie. Expect tons of singing from Giselle. Her voice is lovely so I don't mind, but I'd say it has more music than your average musical.. so *a lot.* In my opinion, I find it hard to believe that Morgan would have such an angsty personality, even as a teenager. I mean, she is Giselle's daughter. Not to say they have to be exactly alike, but to me it felt off. If you're expecting this story to be a continuation of Giselle's life in NYC with her fashion business, that is not touched on at all. The entire plot is based on her desire to get away from city life for a more "fairytale" lifestyle that she once had. It's not perfect, but it's enjoyable, nostalgic, and fun.
