Enjoyed watching Despierta America for 23 years. Has given great community advice. HOWEVER, They should be careful as to what businesses they advertise. I signed up for Aprene Institute for a diplomado certificate on Buena Alimentación. They charge a pretty good hefty fee for these courses. They have a 3 month completion date. I had an accident, with surgery required on my right arm. I could not use it for anything, much less to be on the computer. I requested a 1 month extension. Aprende Institute insisted on charging me, even with a disability I had. No matter how much I discussed that this was not a fair act from their behalf. Be careful of companies you advertise Univision/ Despierta America. They are scammers. NOT good for your many years of reputation. I will surely not recommend them to any friends and family and unfortunately, will have to say to collegues, be careful Despierta America advertisement . They are not legit companies. Because of this, I don’t view this show as I faithfully did for many years, nor do I air it on my business in the morning as I used too. A real shame.
