Bloody (pun intended) fantastic. Better than the books, IMO. The first season is confusing, because the three major characters switch between timelines. The creators say online that this will be resolved in the second season (which is FINALLY out). Long term fantasy readers will notice strong similarities between Geralt and Elric of Melnibone, not that this makes the show any less interesting.
