This was a different kind of movie. Meg Ryan and David D develop their characters well and demonstrated chemistry. It was kind of like watching a play ----'but done as a movie. I really liked it. The characters fought , became indifferent, fell in love again, agreed to disagree , etc .. We got to see them as real people with contradictions, fears, delusions, hopes and dreams. I thought they both did a great job developing the characters. Some people might get bored with this type of film (probably not everyone's taste) but I thought it was heartwarming and relatable. They told a story and shared deep feelings probably more common than we like to discuss. Really good job by two critically acclaimed actors.
