Should have cast someone with the same ethnicity as the original. If she was originally chinese and try to make her white I'd say the same thing. Stop changing our characters for a woke agenda. You really wanna do black culture justice? Then use all of that money and talent at Disney and make an original hit with a black protagonist. Not doing any good by replacing characters. You make one race mad while also undermining the other race. Why to be successful does a black girl need a white character role? Make a hit with a black character as the main and run with it. This could have been a huge hit it's a shame.
