this shows writing and scripts are so basic and predictable. I continue to watch for some reason so they must be doing something right. But there are so many silly conversations that are supposed to be heartfelt but don’t feel believable. the drama of the first 2 seasons felt real. But now it’s just a bunch of relationship drama that gets really annoying. ALSO i feel like every episode there is a fight between a couple or a pair of friends, i feel that’s not very realistic. occasional fights make sense but it is just so constant in this show.

Honestly i did not like emily deschanel’s character, I had to skip through some scenes where she had dialogue because her acting/the writing was very cringe worthy. She talked to her kids like she was talking to a trauma patient and that was just annoying. I think the whole idea of the show was pretty cool but was not executed very well. Every character has something about them that bothered me except for the detective i felt his character was solid.
