Patriot is the best TV show I have ever seen without a doubt (and I’ve seen a lot of TV). I just finished season 2 and I’m incredibly sad there isn’t a third season. The show is brilliantly written and avoids common writing errors. Some might find it a bit much, like the frequent singing by the character John, but I found it funny. It is the most I have ever laughed at a TV show, even though it’s not strictly a comedy. Highly recommended!

The writing was witty and incredibly sweet. It was shot well and the performance the actors delivered was incredibly human. This film is underrated, I'm sure the timing of the release impacted how much people wanted to see it with 2012 being the end of the Mayan calender or whatever. The build of the film is incredibly well timed and the sporadic nature of the film makes it not only incredibly wholesome but also funny. tldr; witty + good actors + wholesome
