Yes this show is "easy to watch", if you want something boring to fall asleep to. In the end, this show is scripted, but still incredibly hollow.
Yes the exploration of foreign cultures is interesting to see, however the couples personal narrative throughout the series is predictable and ultimately quite high-school drama. A lot of their story is shot and edited, i feel, from Tim's perspective. Most of the footage is either long shots of his face, as he stares into the camera, like he's begging you to see his sad soul. Talking about his love for PJ during offsite interviews, yet repetitively acts like an immature man child, when he's being filmed with her.Or, he's just moments away from jumping PJ, like "a dog", to quote her at least. PJ tries her best to get through Tim's idea of a fun engagement, but in the end I kind of just ended up feeling sorry for the woman. Surely she will get her proper engagement time, on Fiji or anywhere relaxing, once filming is over. Or she gets to leave Tim behind. Haha.
