The story had potential. Maybe as a book? It felt like each scene was written individually without much regard to the rest of the story. Like it jumped from point A to B but without anything really to connect it. There also wasn’t enough back story to have Erik’s character develop. It was like a random hobo just woke up in the middle of the woods and that was the first day he existed. None of the characters had much development. I know it’s supposed to be fantasy but it takes place in real locations with real governments. No one, individual or government, act like real people. The entire time I just kept thinking, “Wow, why are you just standing there? Why are you going along with this? Run for your life.”
