I’m 56 and due to health issues I can’t read for long but I honestly couldn’t stop reading this book bit by bit each day.
The book is well written in the way it describes the pre-war, during and life afterwards and the incredible experience that Henry Oster went through.
The hardships, the cruel brutality that was inflicted by humans on others was truly chilling to read but beautifully and respectfully written.
I raved this book so much my 21 year old son is now reading it.
My only regret… Henry isn’t alive to read his book reviews.
