Not great, it became very formulaic to me. I watched through the first 14 episodes and got kind of tired of the premise. Somewhere along the line, it went from a really interesting concept to a more or less routine TV storyline. Too much storyline squeezed into 60 minutes. Would have been better if each episode was stretched out a bit more. I really don’t like to see all these amazing characters come to incredible conclusions and make incredible discoveries in a one hour episode. And all of the characters aside from James Spader, were weak and there was no one I really cared about in that cast. I also felt that the writing was less than good. I really don’t know how this series lasted all that long given the typical TV drama kind of writing. Maybe I should have given it a longer run, but I really couldn’t hold myself to this serious when there are other things to watch. On balance, not bad, but not great.

Ridiculously over the top, bang bang movie that makes most other action blockbusters look real. I’m a big guy Ritchie fan, but this movie was a huge disappointment because I didn’t expect this violent, laughable stupidity from him. Nothing to be gained here, nothing even close to realistic, nothing of the Guy Ritchie movies that I love. The opening scene was kind of cool, and then the movie went steadily downhill from there. Dumb, dumb, and dumber. I’m not sure why this movie was made, especially by the great Guy Ritchie. Poorly written. Considering that this was based on a true story, it could have been done much more convincingly, dramatically, and intensely engaging. Nothing to see here.
