I absolutely LOVED this show! It is so realistic and it represents and shows issues that we struggle in today, like oppressed genders and races, and drugs, self-harm, etc.
I love that they included a love triangle because many teenagers struggle with this but no one seems to care or realize this. There were two love triangles in this show, with Ginny, Hunter, and Marcus, and with Georgia, Zion, and Paul.
Another thing, they included LGBTQ and I feel like that is appreciated and much needed because people are very judgemental about the LGBTQ community. Although, I would also appreciate if not EVERY one of the shows and movies I watch have it in there.
The director(s), creator(s), and showrunner(s) did a great job on this show. You can tell that they worked very hard and the taylor swift fans should not be canceling the show because of one joke about taylor swift, I don't mean this is disrespect of taylor swift, because of course she is a queen, but to end all of these people's careers before they have even started is not right.
I definitely agree that this show needs a second season, it is very realistic and helps me realize the worlds issues today and helps me with similar situations I have been in.
Now, I know there was that one taylor swift joke in one of the ending episodes, but the fans have taken it too far! Yes, I agree that the director or someone from the show should apologize to taylor swift, but to just cancel the next season, that is too far. A lot of these actors and actresses are just beginning their career, do you really want to end it for them, just like that? Think about your actions and who and what it effects. Do you really want to end a bunch of people's careers that are just starting to take flight?
