I was 8 years old when this movie came out. My dad worked a part time job at Dillards in Richardson square mall in Texas and I had to go with him since he was divorced. I was supposed to just go "hang out" until he got off at 930 so I would go to the movies. I probably watched it a dozen times and I still stop to watch it when I see it on the channel guide. Best part is the asteroid field.
