I don't know if this movie was the beginning of Al Pacino's over acting, but holy cow was he comical. I know Heat is considered a seminal piece of 90's cinema, but I found the script dialogue, at least between the love interests, pretty plodding and contrived. LA is the last part of this ensemble cast and is shot beautifully, again in a 90s sort of way.
