Not sure why this movie has such high ratings since it failed so epically in so many ways. I think people were trying too hard to be “film critics” or “cinematography buffs” and give out such a highly intellectual breakdown of why this movie is so “incredible” when all they sound is pretentious and like they hate movies that have any sense of an actual plot and story line. I don’t want to waste more of my time on this movie so I won’t give details or spoilers BUT IF YOUVE READ THE BOOK DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THE MOVIE. The book is better.
