A fun movie without ANY agenda other than it being a fun movie. Sonic is lovable right out of the gate. It tells the age old story of boy meets alien to overcome the bad guy ( Jim Carey ). There is a star studded cast and cameos by some very big names. The movie is far from perfect but it does such a nice job of getting you to feel a connection between Sonic and the sheriff by the end of the movie that the flaws don't matter. It's clear Sonic is aimed at the younger crowd but has some good punchlines and witty humor that young at heart adults can lol. I'm glad I went to see it and recommend it to anyone.
