Persona 5 which was released about three years ago had a strong argument to being the greatest JRPG of all time with its great characters, themes, music, and gameplay. It had flaws of course, with some things that needed to be polished. Well those flaws were mostly polished in Persona 5 Royal. After some time reflecting on the game after having finished it, I can definitely say that Persona 5 (the) Royal is the greatest JRPG of all time and is in contention for greatest game of all time.
