If I could do 4.9 I would. The gunplay is good. Like, really good. The reticle uses a movement system where depending on things like movement or if you are crouched or prone, there is more or less recoil. Position really matters and it makes a simple 3rd person shooter much more complex. The unlocks are a bit grindy at first, but there's lots of gear to unlock, with each being more powerful and destructive than the last. The really awesome part about the game is it tracks and shows stats like players in a sector at once, casualties, enemies killed, bullets fired, etc. as I write this we have killed over 5 million bugs with only 50k casualties! All of these stats are used to track how the players as a whole are doing liberating planets. It seems like once a week all Helldivers receive major orders that specify a region to liberate with a deadline. If all players come together and get it done, we all get a huge reward. It's a simple, fun way of making you feel like you're in a real army fighting a real war. The one negative I have is there is a paid battle pass. It also contains a few guns that as far as I know, are unattainable elsewhere that have some cool effects. On the bright side, the paid pass is quite small, fairly inexpensive and ultimately amounts to a paid dlc with a few guns. Also, the premium currency used to get the pass and other daily items is earnable and findable in the game world. It isn't impossible to earn enough for the paid pass, just not easy. That aside, what you're getting is one of the most visually striking shooters I've seen with good action, explosions, and hilarious humor in the vein of exceedingly corporate games like Satisfactory and Deep Rock Galactic. Everything is democracy this, justice that and it never gets old. If I had to put it simply, this game is essentially America in space fighting aliens. Buy, salute the flag, and do Super Earth proud!

It felt like a jumbled mess. I think it's good entertainment, as my family liked it, but for me, an OG star wars fan, it was not great. The mistakes made are just so obvious it's hard to get over. It is clear whomever was making the creative decisions doesn't understand how the force works.

Could use some big support but the game is insanely well made. Playing on PS4, I can report that anyone who tells you the game is unplayable is straight lying. I have played for around ten hours and had ZERO issues that prevented me from playing. Not even a single frame drop. It seems quite steady at 30 fps all the time, even in crowded areas. The actual RPG elements are some of the best I have seen. Keep it up, CDPR!

The vast majority of the reviews are "it isn't MW one star." So I will attempt to review the game as a stand alone game, seeing as it isn't MW2 and is in fact Black Ops Cold War. The gameplay feels like BO1, slightly more down to earth than the franchise's futuristic trend. It feels like you are actually bound by physics this time around and I found myself enjoying that. I found several issues with the base settings, things like auto aim, hit markers and some movement settings but after I tweaked them, I found myself enjoying the game more. That's something a lot of reviews mention, that enemies and zombies have health bars. But that doesn't count as a complaints as you can turn those things off. The majority of the issues I had were solved by going to the settings and bothering to fix them. The only real issue I had was online was buggy on launch day. Not super surprising honestly. In whole, I Actually like this entry into the series second best after BO1, it just has a slightly arcady feel to it.

Dark, disturbing and utterly convincing, this film details exactly how an ordinary man could descend into the madness we are accustomed to whenever the Joker enters the scene. Simply brilliant cinematography, choreography, acting, directing and story writing. Hands down the best film of the year, and perhaps the decade.

I kind of like the game itself but the developers are moving in decidedly anti consumer ways, and if they keep this up the game will be unplayable. There is fun to be had here if you can look beyond the micro transactions and cut content. The parkour is finally on par with the first game after over a year of updates, and the map design is quite good. The story however is just not enjoyable, and clearly suffers from a change in scope halfway through development, most likely due to the firing of Chris Avalone over false accusations. In short, the game has a decent core gameplay loop but is bogged down by bad business practices and a clear bias towards social justice over good gameplay.

If you like the vibe of Game of Thrones, or if you really like huge, awesome spectacular moments and boss fights, or if you like action combos like in DMC, then this is the game for you. If you like more tactical, turn based combat, then I personally think this is still the game for you, because this is amazing. To give you an idea of the gameplay, essentially they took the combat formula of DMC, where you can combo the tar out of whole groups of enemies and look stylish while doing it, and combined it with a very serious and mature Final Fantasy story. I can't stress enough that you are playing this game for the combo action and the truly epic spectacles and boss fights, of which there are many. The game does have more down to earth moments and RPG elements that are fine in their own right, but the other elements, the bosses, the cutscenes, the combat, are all so good they unfortunately make the more mundane gameplay a bit boring, and you just wanna get back in the action ASAP. The only major downside, it really isn't that bad but the frame rate isn't locked to 60. In combat it usually is, but for some reason in the slower village areas and in some night sections the frame rate dips to the 30's. Thankfully, like I said this doesn't happen in combat somehow so I don't mind much. Overall, I can't recommend it enough, it's fun, action packed, has a good new game plus system, and a good story. One of the best PS5 exclusives for sure.
