The ORIGINAL THEME song of Alam Ara in its theatrical performance earlier and in the script of the movie was "Parvar Digare Alam'. The music and melody to this song was composed by Joseph David Penker. This song was removed and "Dede tukda" was the tukda inserted surreptitiously instead.
The original Theatrical Production of Alam Ara, with "parvar digare alam" as the theme song, was a great success that prompted the author of this production to envision the transformation of this Theatrical Play on screen with sound; it was non other than the famous dramatist of the era Joseph David Penker, popularly known as The Dramatist since 1900 whose theatrical productions entertained masses of people.
