It's hard to imagine your favorite psych-rock/prog metal band changing sounds. Especially to a throwback 1960's Italian Giallo soundtrack.
Naturally I couldn't understand what I was listening to for the first few play throughs. But, as if it were a light switch being flipped, I got it.
It has been in heavy rotation ever since.
I can't tell you the intricacies that make this album so special. But if you are a fan of jazz and ambiance this album is for you.
It's an experience that not many artists can produce. And that's not even in a "music these days isn't like it used to be." Sense, but across the decades.
I strongly put this album in my timeless category.
Phenomenal job UA, Kevin Starr had a passion and he has done it justice.
Please give this album a listen, enjoy it on a drive, listen to it while cleaning, or just light up and enjoy the vibe.
