Though the story is tweaked to make the protagonist look righteous at the end, there's a underlying motive to glorify Ravana. At the end the message that they wish to communicate is that we're villains in someone's story, intentionally trying to blur the thin line between right and wrong. I pity the audience who have highly rated the movie. Let there be no doubt that the Rakshasa was evil and did everything to deserve what he got.
The message should be no matter what, tendencies like Ravana are always evil. And he is a villain no matter whichever story that is. I wish I could have given it zero stars for its propaganda.
