Excellent movie about drag and bigger issues of gender & identity. The people in it are so funny, and Columbus looks like an amazing place for drag. I liked how the film isn't about one person, or having one opinion, but gives space for all voices, and shows a wide range of people on screen. The experience of watching it was empowering and emotionally moving, and also educational, and I thought I knew a lot about drag already! I also really liked how the film included drag kings, trans performers, burlesque, and other types of performers. I expect this film is going to be a classic in schools. Also, Nina West is in it from RuPaul!

Funny, clever, old-fashioned comedy we watched with our 10 and 12 year old, and they loved it. It is in that line of old hollywood movies with fast dialogue, and a lot of twists and turns. We came across this by chance, and I'm surprised it's not shown every year around Easter. It was really fun for grandparents, us, and our kids. Great old character actors! Cloris Leachman, Wendie Malick, and others. A really good cast, including the nun who we didn't know but my kids recognized her as Hannah from The Office! We liked the small town flavor of the film. It's not a flashy studio movie, but we liked that it was fresh and full of heart.
