This one’s an expensive bottle of single malt. Don’t expect immediate gratification. When I first heard it, I was going to give it 3 stars, then suddenly few songs crept under my skin and embraced my soul. The melancholic “between two points” with his daughter , the frantic call to comprehend the eternities with “single spark” followed by that Gilmour’s soulful guitar will leave an indelible mark… it’s no DSOTM, Meddle and the rest of the big ones, but definitely close within the same league as the Division Bell….
