Telugu version of this movie has elegantly laid out the beauty of a harmonious love story. I highly appreciate the authenticity of exquisite poetry showcased in songs' lyrics in a compelling way.
Despite minor VFX flaws, it leaves a lasting impression when experienced on the big screen.
The point to remember is that it's the narrative of a beautiful, tender, and kind woman who navigated through the game of fate with unwavering strength for the love. As so, the actress takes precedence over the hero's role, hence, Sam and Dev have effectively conveyed Shakuntala's grace and Dushyanta's charm, respectively.
In the world of many chaotic and senseless movies, this movie makes sense in many ways like a decent breezy romance, Kanva Rushi about raising a daughter, Sam's subtle expressions, Allu Arha as Bharata - a delightful presence, and quite a few dialogs about Dharma!
Definitely doesn't deserve a negative review.
Kudos to #Shakuntalam team!!
