That was THE WORST tv show I watched. So many stereotypes, so many BAD acting, forced comedy rather? Desperate women who are over 40 years of age that are still VERY much male centered and desperately seeking male(s) validation because they haven’t live a life neither built a life of their own, instead trying to get back at their exes. Just pathetic! If there’s anything any woman should learn about this show, is try NOT to turn like those characters portrayed. Terrible acting, loud, ghetto and PREDICTABLE. Jill Scott is very disappointing as a character in that show, because outside of shows like these, she is a talented, beautiful, soft, and terrific singer. Has her career been on pause or stagnant lately? If that’s the case she a little bit more push in different directions INSTEAD of being cast in those low budgets movies/tv shows. That’s humiliating. Maybe in the 90’s and early 2000’s shows like these would have a pass like those raggedy Taylor Perry movies with terrible stereotypes of Black Women, but it’s 2023, the world has change so much, and we Gen-Z want no part to this.
I wish I could give it less than 1 star. Also, why are writers like Tracy Oliver determined to portray Black Americans as lower class citizens that are allergic to great dialogues in movies, who are always cussing, loud, lack of awareness individuals who act as victims, poor and with lot or some sort of struggles? Oh- and the dark brown skin women are always being heavily mistreated. Is that a fetish? It got to be since there are a patterns in most of her other shows/movies. Even this show, the women looked so unkept. Just poor taste all over. After 5 episodes I just wanted to puke. 0/5 star!!!!
