A solid cast, a novel idea about fracking unleashing the undead. Then the storytelling hit, deadpan is fine, if there’s something else to change the pace but the script and storyline put paid to anything interesting happening, exploiting the beginning elements of the film. The messages and metaphors in the film were like pies to the face, I found the jokes to miss the mark and never even raise a smile, although they might appeal to a certain type sense of humour. A waste of time and a wasted cast, with an ending that should’ve been a surprise but because there was no historic build up, to any of the characters, I just found myself not caring about anyone, mediocre at best, wait for it to show on tv.
