I got on the Bloodborne train a little late (2022) but I've played and beaten it over 20 times. Even still, I'm discovering new things in this game.
The gameplay is quick, clean, and reactive. Especially the combat. Fighting bosses in Bloodborne are always stressful, yet so rewarding at the same time. The atmosphere is, in one word, "horror". Everywhere in Yharnam is gloomy and dreadful, with beasts and corpses lining the streets.
My favourite part of the whole game is easily the score. Gehrman's theme, Cleric Beast, and Ludwig's theme are some of the greatest songs I've ever heard, and they hit you right in the chest with emotion.
