I have long been obsessed with the Tudor dynasty and have seen all the TV shows that has told the story's so beautifully. So while on vacation and looking for a beach book I came apon this series in a B&N store after searching the store with no luck. I was instantly drawn to it and purchased. The rest of my beach vacation I couldn't put it down! While at the pool, standing in lines, waiting for and in the elevator I couldn't get enough of this story! Alison Weir is a wonderful writer and I am so thankful for this book. I started with this one first only because I wanted to know more about the second wife and queen to Henry viii. I'm can't wait for the next book then the next! It has been so long since I have fallen in love with such a book and I plan on reading it again! Alison did a great job telling Anne's story and gives us a better idea of the woman behind the gossip and stories. If you read this novel you will surely love it!

I purchased this book on vacation to have one to read on the ride back home. I couldn't put it down! The plot, twists and turns of the story were brilliant. I mean omg this really is an amazing book! I will recommend it to anyone who wants any book recommendations. I have to say Mary Kubica has definitely set the bar high here. This is a must read! I think I might have to read it again soon. Thank you Mary for such an amazing book.
