I have mixed feelings about this one. I'm 16 (this year) and this has quite definitely broadened my perception about relationships. How older people try to move on with drastic and cliche methods like hook up culture. And honestly this is such a really strange movie. Gross and brazen, but I personally think that's just how people are when they lose theirselves and don't know what to do after losing someone/something
dear to you. The acting was on point but I wish the storyline was more epigrammatic. The movie took up so much time because of the male protagonist's ruminations. Besides that, the concept of human-AI relationships is freakin weird, lol. Let's be real, that's just some another level of delusion. I get the attachment and all but not to something that doesn't exist, feel emotions and physical touch. If you are really that lonely, find yourself first and give time to appreciate the greeneries of this world and human nature because we are made to give love for real things. The people around him were also tolerating it. Thousands of people were talking to Samantha (AI) too. Very ChatGPT core. For me at least, I think AI is just really made for guidance about things we are unknowledgeable about, and not for love and connection. She's just made by other humans. Modern technology is evolving and I'm kind of worried for the future generations since deing delusional is so common now. I lowkey interpret this movie as the bittersweet journey of a man who is going through a loss, and how he found a computer to cheer him up. And that's why I think self-discovery is important. the ending did get to me tho, when that mellowy pure bliss music started blasting and the end credits showed up all I saw was my dropped jaw with a tear falling on my cheek from all that angst. I hope whoever made this movie is okay cause damn
