Okay so first off, many of the people who gave three stars are complaining about how this story mocked being the same adventure hero story but different in the first episode but may I add, all story has the same bases. ALL. OF. THEM.
The characters are different, their origins are different, their era are different, their species is different, and sometimes their planet is different. But it will always have a base of an evil that unites a group of like minded people to fight against it. Its immature to watch movies for so many years and yet have not understood the basics of story telling.
Coming back to the series, the visuals is so damn amazing. I love the witcher and I watched it because I am very much into adventure, quest-like, series, movies, and animations. Dare I say that I prefer The Witcher: Blood Origin over The Witcher mostly because it caters to my taste in story telling and visuals. I never played The Witcher game so I am unable to provide or talk about that but I would like to say that the Netflix production team did wonders with the bizarre creature present in these movies!
