Great acting, great story, great everything... but I hated the Dad. As a Dad I could not emerse myself in the movie. The way I feel about this movie is the way my teenaged daughter would feel about watching 80's slasher films. She would hate how the teen girls just run in circles and trip over obvious branches the same way I was yelling at the screen for the Dad to contribute anything at all. I don't know a single Dad that would act that way, it took me completely out of the movie, so I could not truly enjoy what was otherwise a great film.
