The campaigns are rather good. You can dominate as France all the way as early as the late French Revolution with Napoleon a simple general in that time. Or you can pick up in the Iberian camapaign. You can play in Egypt where rebellions can be a pain, or fight in Italy to try and reach a path to Vienna.
Overall a great game with minor issues. This game got me into the TW series, but I had a bit of trouble learning it.
