Annapoorani is a movie that is pure nonsense. It conveys that religious and traditional values can be compromised to achieve personal goals. Oh my god - I have never seen such an idiotic creativity in the recent past. This is a great example of how a movie shouldn't be made. It clearly shows that the director hasn't done his homework well to deliver a good women-centric film. Rather, the whole movie revolves around portraying Nayanthara as a role model - by compromising the values of specific hindu sect and promoting the values of Islam. From a movie-making perspective, every frame looks completely unnatural; heroine is full of makeup in every scene, though it doesn't help her hide from becoming old. Unsurprisingly, neither the Director Nor Nayanthara have had the guts to portray the lead character as a Muslim girl who dares to cook Pork Biriyani.
