Loved it! I think it was a super enjoyable film. It felt like a worthy sequel to the first one. it shifted the universe back to New York and added the potential new crew naturally and well earned coming from the last one. It had moments that were genuinely spooky. But was always fun and had me entertained. It Stayed focused on character arc for the most part, which will always be the heart of the franchise. It fell short of afterlife in a similar fashion to gb2 back in the day. Heavy with the effects and lost site of character comparatively. But not terribly so. I was a child and massive fan of the first two when they came out and always loved gb2 despite people’s criticisms. This feels like it will be in that vein for some kid watching today.
