From what I've read and heard about "Watergate" those guys were pretty much the incompetent buffoons we see in the series. They would fit in perfectly in the MAGA movement. Especially the cubans, no wonder the "Bay of Pigs" was such a disaster. The natural comparison of Nixon and Trump has to be made. Due to the level of corruption of both administrations. Both insecure and surrounded by idiots, the only difference was that Nixon whose presidency accomplished a lot, was a highly intelligent man, who knew when the line was crossed and resigned. Trump on th other hand, being the corrupt idiot that he is, keeps screwing it up on a daily basis. But the series shows a truth that many here don't want to acknowledge. Liddy was exactly how he's portrayed.... Great show!
