When you talk of ethical investing by our Kiwi saver providers, you advocate Kiwis make choices to exclude any investment in Russian business ventures, Why do we vilify the Russian President for his invasion of Ukraine and not the US despot who invaded Iraq? Tens of thousands of Afghan children face famine and death. No wall to wall TV coverage. No mention of sympathy for the millions starving as a direct consequence of the Western arrogance. I despise war in all forms but why not consider ethical investing with an unbiased eye. Why not insist that our Kiwi saver providers boycott US and European investments as well? We need to shed our small island mentality with our parochial views. There is a wider world out there beyond the white mans bigotry.
