i bought it out of curiousity as it continued to remain in the top 10 best selling books for so long. so glad i did - its such a beautiful story and the illustrations too. having seen it animated it has to be , for me, the loveliest story about the animals and us and so beautifully illustrates what we all need is love and understanding and kindness
