Being a civil engineer I understand the vacillation under immense pressure from higher authority and self consciousness. It was a conflict between righteousness and poverty. Moral values are more important than money. Basically it cannot be defined in a single word .I do believe that it's a real patriotism and not a flake nationalism that prevailing in our society in present era.
