I have read several of his books. I was exited to start this one and couldn’t get past the first three pages. What the heck was he thinking?! He expands every friggen sentence to the point where you forget where it started. Each paragraph is completely disjointed from the previous. The reader feels like Koontz was getting paid per word and those words were expelled and expanded in great effort to purely torture the reader. Wasted 17$ on this piece of fire starter. Truly, what was he thinking?!
