while I was watching the episode tonight on the Cuba syndrome I could not help but be reminded of a time almost 20 years ago when my wife and I lived in the desert of Arizona not far from the Colorado river. One of our neighbors had purchased a ultrasonic electric plug in device to ward off rodents. It was not suppose to be audible to human ears however I could hear it and it was quite disturbing. The sound that I could hear was very similar to the sound that one of the government officials was hearing in their home. Something only slightly more sophisticated could cause someone susceptible to it quite a bit of discomfort. I thought it might be something to consider.
