Great concept but only the last maybe 20 minutes of the movie was actually good. But it felt like watching people who just met do improv on how to be a family. The dialog was so awkward and I wish the big reveal at the end wasn't just sprung on you. It would have been better if one of the characters died during the swim through coral and then it would have been more suspenseful if the ending didn't tie everything up in a neat package of "everything is okay now." It was hard not to laugh during the film. Every thing just felt so forced. The actors did the best the could with what was provided for them, but it felt as though the screen writers stopped working on the script and just gave the actors a concept idea and told them to wing it. And the camera man let the intern film for most of it. Honestly I was so excited for this movie because the trailer is fantastic but I think that's where they stopped putting effort in. Fantastic concept and the idea is clearly there, but the execution and character development is just so choppy.
