The people who think this film is disgusting is those who cannot see beyond their own ways of living. I'll admit, I was uncomfortable at first. I judged because it was not what I was used to. But the moment she found out her true identity, it was like this huge burden was lifted from her. She was perfectly beautiful, made the way she was supposed to be. And after that moment I found myself accepting her different and unique ways of living and being. Didn't find it weird or wrong. This film taught that even if something seems weird and wrong to us, it could very well be our own misunderstanding. We judge and hate others because of OUR own ignorance. And those who are calling it disgusting missed the whole point of the film. Also I just want to say, you think your so much better because you don't eat maggots? No you're just as gross in your own way. Next time you find something wrong or weird, really put yourself in their shoes and look at the situation from a open perspective. Is it really that wrong? Or are we just judging because we don't understand.
