Really disappointing film. Connection to the characters completely missing. Apart from. The original cast members, house and sculptures, this film was no where near the original. Felt really rushed and disconnected. I AM disappointed I spent money at the cinema to see this. I had secondhand embarrassment watching this, what can only be describedas an expensive waste of time. Is Tim Burton losing his mind? If you are a fan of the original, don't go and see this film. There is no nostalgia and frankly you would be better off grabbing some snacks and watching the original at home. Lydia's character is turned into some blithering pill popping victim with a money grabbing boyfriend. Beetlejuice is a tame pg version without the grit. There are alot of pointless characters that aren't worth a mention. Best part of the film was when it ended. Save your money, don't bother!
