In all honesty I'm still a salty that I spent $100 dollars on this game, pre-ordered it and two months after the beta ended it played like an alpha build. For a good while in the beginning the game was a serious downgrade from Wildlands. The last time I played this game was after the Sam Fisher update and from what I remember it seemed to be a big improvement from what it was in the first few months. No longer to I look like I jumped into a tank of slime when I crawl in the grass, so that's neat.
Something that really irks me is that whenever I'm in a cutscene my headgear would disappear; I have a gas mask, helmet with binoculars, and headphones on my avatar, I talk to someone, it all just disappears then when I'm done talking to them it all comes back...
This wasn't an issue in Wildlands, it shouldn't be an issue in it's successor. Also, the optional dialogue seems pretty pointless to me and the selling point of "You are now the hunted" was pretty exaugurated since I'm mowing down wolves and sentinels like Santa Blanca Gunmen; my combat experiences between Wildlands and Breakpoint didn't really differ all that much. Also, also you can beat Cole D. Walker in your first hour of gameplay by interrogating some random guy and spam him with a grenade launcher.
With all that said I really hope anyone who intends on buying this does get some enjoyment out of the game BUT if I was a betting man I'd say you'd enjoy playing something else more.
(Sorry if this review was a bit all over the place)
